Good practise event and stakeholder meeting Utrecht

On 30 – 31 March 2022, the Province of Utrecht and the University of Applied Science Utrecht hosted the Interreg eBussed Good Practice event. The project supports the transition towards zero emission public transport in six different European Regions.

The program:

Day 1 – Tuesday 29th March

In the morning several experts have presented interesting Good Practices about e-bus deployment in the Utrecht region. There was a wide range of opportunities to interact on topics like e-bus performance monitoring, smart charging, spatial planning, zero emission policies for public transport and many more. In the afternoon, we took a tour with an e-bus, we have visited the depots with charging facilities near Utrecht, and we visited the TRIBUS-manufactory. In the evening we enjoyed dinner in the historic centre of Utrecht.

Day 2 – Thursday 31st March

On March 31, all the partners in the eBussed project presented good practices from their regions. During the break, we offered our guests an excursion to the nearby new station-area: the largest railway station in the Netherlands, the world’s biggest cycle-parking, the heart of the national public transport system, and a good practice for sustainable urban area development. We finalized the meeting with a workshop on the regional Action Plans. The meeting ended at 17:00.
